Ocean Reef Real Estate Blog

Over the summer months Russell Post Sotheby’s International Realty has been working to garner additional exposure for Ocean Reef and our client’s homes in the hopes to bring in new families from high end areas not familiar with our club.  In October, RPSIR will host a group of more than 55 Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates from around the world at Ocean Reef.  Brokers and agents from Canada, Bahamas, South Florida, New York, Minnesota, Ohio, Indiana and California, to name a few, will come to Ocean Reef to experience our unique way of life.  Sotheby’s International Realty has a strong referral program between our affiliates and it is our goal to encourage these brokers and agents in our target markets to refer their clients to us who may be looking for a second home or vacation home in a place like Ocean Reef.   

In addition, RPSIR has been targeting the foreign high-end real estate buyers in Brazil and Hong Kong.  With the large influx of Brazilian buyers that Miami has experienced it is our goal to expose these buyers to the Ocean Reef lifestyle so as to encourage some of those buyers to consider Ocean Reef.  RPSIR has been meeting with Brazilian brokers and has a large group of potential buyers from Brazil visiting Ocean Reef over Vintage Weekend.

Likewise, RPSIR will also be participating in an International Property Expo in Hong Kong in December 2011.  We’ve partnered with a real estate group who has offices in South Florida, Paris and Thailand specializing in real estate investments for high profile clients around the world.  Through this partnership they will present Ocean Reef and our real estate to their high net worth clientele.   

With all the uncertainty in the world today, we need to take comfort in the fact that Ocean Reef has never been better.  Debt free and considered one of the most secure communities in the United States, our community is continuing to grow with an increase in membership and an increase in market activity from years past.  Ocean Reef is truly a special place and it is our goal to keep it that way.
